ULTRAVIOLET is an Australian Indie Alt-Rock band, made up of Zac Lucas, Joel Cameron and Sam Lucas. UV formed in 2023 after Joel and Zac had been writing music together in university, later enlisting Sam to join them in order to play the songs live. From there, the band has been playing live shows across Sydney, as well as writing and recording their upcoming debut EP.

The band draws from a variety of inspirations, from alt-rock groups such as Foo Fighters & Paramore, to alternative & pop rock acts such as The 1975, and members of the Australian Indie scene, such as Teenage Dads, The Vanns and Spacey Jane. With these influences, ULTRAVIOLET have quickly developed a sound that is hard-hitting and energetic, whilst catchy and joyous.

In August 2024, the band released their debut single “The Frustration” off their upcoming EP.
